When are you your best self?
Q&A | May 26th, 2008 No comments
No matter how flexible or resilient one becomes, there are times, people, and places that evoke the best in us. Whether it’s the friend who laughs at your jokes, the stillness of early mornings, or the adrenaline rush of performance, we all have times that remind us of who we really, truly are.

Carrie says: When I’m listening openly and freely. I’m at my best when I observe instead of judge or offer my opinion. Listening this way leaves space for people to be themselves – and that energizes me.

Danielle says: I’m my best after some solitude. I’m an Introverted Extrovert. (Sometimes, I have Monk envy. I suck at small talk. I wish my house had a drawbridge.) Alone time for me is like a mega dose Vitamin C.
