What’s Your Purpose for Money?
Money | August 13th, 2008

“My Purpose for Money” list is taped into my day timer. I wrote it five years ago and it holds true – in fact, it’s coming true. And when I wrote it, there was no “Carrie & Danielle, Inc.,” yet. I didn’t have an internet company, a child, or any money to invest in anything.
Every single word is intentional.
- Rapidly create a lasting empire of hip-consciousness products + writings…beautiful communication.
- Travel with Scott, our children, friends and family, widely and freely.
- Create and invest in socially responsible ventures.
- Generously and frequently gift family and friends.
- Be a high-level philanthropist.
- Own a beautiful home in Vancouver.
- Time and luxury space in Santa Fe (or elsewhere…)
- Buy beautiful art.
Get clear on your desired life, and you’ll be clear on your purpose for money. What will money help you create?

Danielle – I have to confess – I’m developing a serious girl-crush on you!
But, no worries, cyber-stalking is not my style and I live across the country, so I won’t be showing up uninvited on your doorstep inviting you for coffee! Plus, my hubby might have an issue with it.
I am often amazed at how your thoughts/responses are so similar to what I would respond – only far more articulate. You have refined the act of communication in it’s multitude of forms to a beautifully distilled and powerful art. Nuff said – I’m gushing and not prone to PDAs so am signing off now…
