What’s your favourite magazine?
Weeklies, monthlies, gossip or newsy, the magazines we love are our little windows to the world.
Carrie says: I will read almost any magazine. I love the tactile, visual experience. I bought my first Vogue at fourteen and my favorites now include Inc., World of Interiors, and Domino.
Danielle says: I’ve subscribed to Utne (”ut-nee”) for over a decade – it’s a great take on progressive culture. And every single month I look forward to the latest Marie Claire for smart chick journalism alongside fashion, and Esquire (which I think is the testosterone version of Marie Claire.) …Dwell Magazine is fab for helping me dream about the mod pre-fab we want to construct. And I do love Oprah’s O for the real-life inspirational stories (tho’ I’ve long thought that Oprah should share the cover with her featured guest – it’s time for a change.) Quarterly, I get into What Is Enlightenment? Magazine for the excellent “spiritual journalism.” I’m excited to see how Good Magazine evolves. And in the grocery store check out line, I am almost always a sucker for People and In Style (I like the celeb home spreads.) Mags are my soul snacks. I’d eat them if I could.
