What’s your favorite eco-friendly habit?

Daily | August 20th, 2008

Three cheers for the big and little ways we care for Mother Earth. Tell us how you show your eco-love.

Carrie says: I’m committed to picking up litter on the street. I can’t walk by so much as a candy wrapper without picking it up. If I see someone actually littering, I will tell them off.

Danielle says: I could go on and on about happy green habits. My favourite eco-practice is that I never, ever buy gift wrapping paper. Not even at Christmas. We use magazines, old maps, blueprints, art work, paper bags, posters. I use twine or old ribbon scraps to tie on sprigs of leaves or pieces of holly, candy, or a nice pen, or little treat. Funky. Simple. Thoughtful.
