Daily | December 15th, 2008
“Once again, we come to the Holiday Season, a deeply religious time that each of us observes, in his own way, by going to the mall of his choice.” – Dave Barry

Carrie says: The frantic pace and the fretful faces of so many people. And Christmas music banned in retail shops before December 1.

Danielle says: Wrapping paper just shatters my eco-friendly heart. Instead of festive fancy, I see landfill stuffing. That metallic Mylar stuff that’s become so popular is especially gruesome on the eco-system. Use old maps, old magazines, blueprints, newspaper, craft paper, re-useable gifts bags. Better yet! Give experiences or gift certificates or some of your time. Say no to the shiny rolls. Say yes to happy trees.
