What is your favourite form of courtesy that you like to practice?

Q&A | September 29th, 2008 No comments

“Manners are a sensitive awareness of the feelings of others. If you have that awareness, you have good manners, no matter what fork you use.” – Emily Post, Ms. Manners

Carrie says: I love to send cards to say thank you, hello, goodbye. And I like to be an interesting, interested, helpful house guest.

Danielle says: Generally speaking, I go out of my way to tell someone if I like something. It can change someone’s entire day to look them in the eye or warmly say, “That was great service, I appreciate it.” Or, “Beautiful meal, what a pleasure.” Or, “You look great.” I especially dig telling women when they look fabulous. And…I want to start a revolution in simply saying, hello. Get on the love train!

Wanna be resentment-free? Ask for the thanks you need.
