What has been your most significant beginning?
Here’s our premise: Your personal, divine intelligence is ever present. The “I should have known better” experiences, or “I should have gone for it,” feelings can’t always be blamed on not knowing. You do know. It’s just that sometimes, our intuitive eardrum is blocked, or we deny what we hear. Ultimately, of course, we choose our lessons and every choice leads home. That being said…
Beginnings are particularly precious moments. So much valuable information is present in first meetings and occurrences. Look back on the start of a relationship, or enterprise and remember what showed up: immediate, lovely familiarity? Was someone late or ill prepared? Was there grace, confusion, rudeness, or laughter? As Maya Angelou says, “when someone shows themselves to you, believe them first time.” Whatever theme or vibe or interplay is there at the get-go, will very likely carry forward from that moment on.
First feelings, along with first impressions can be far more sacred than we acknowledge. The wisdom is there if we begin to listen.

Carrie says:When I first met “Friend X” she spent the night talking about herself – and it was interesting; I was totally intrigued. But it occurred to me later that there wasn’t any real sharing. And guess what, the whole premise of our relationship was based on her talking and my listening. I don’t have friends like that any more.
Danielle says: The first time I met Carrie, she was on time (she came to my house to do my Style Statement.) She hugged me. She was curious, complimentary, and interested in everyone in the house. And I was quite taken aback by her unassuming honesty. And, five years later, that attentiveness and warmth is infused into absolutely everything we do together. The copyright of the article What has been your most significant beginning? in Q&A is owned by Carrieanddanielle.com.
