What are your favourite natural remedies?

Q&A | July 22nd, 2008 13 Comments

Whether it’s an old recipe from your great grandma or the latest nutraceutical, natural remedies are part of most everyone’s wellness plan.

Apple Cider VinegarCarrie says:

  1. Acupuncture: Last year I was bitten by a dog on my face – major swelling and stitches. Two acupucture sessions later no scars, no plastic surgery!
  2. Bach Rescue Remedy: in drop form, calming and comforting. I use before a speaking gig.
  3. 1 cup of apple cider vinegar in a bath and eating plain yogurt to soothe yeast infections. (note: unsweetened yogurt, sugar feeds the yeast.)

LavendarDanielle says:

  1. Garlic: terrific for colds and throat infections. Swallow raw cloves whole. Chase it down with honey!
  2. Lavender oil: tension soother, great for skin irritations, especially Eczema.
  3. Blueberry juice: super duper anti-oxidant.
