Very often the physical setting for your wedding ceremony will limit your choice of floral decoration but, when it comes to wedding receptions flowers, this is often a very different matter. Bear in mind that flowers will often form a large part of your overall plan of decoration and start by choosing a venue for your reception which allows you plenty of scope.

The next thing that you will need to think about is theme that you wish to use for your decoration. You might choose a theme that is consistent throughout your wedding and will run from the bouquet, through the flowers at the religious or civil ceremony and on to the wedding reception flowers. Alternatively you may choose, as many couples do, to separate the wedding ceremony and reception by selecting a different theme for each.

Wedding Reception Flower Arrangements
Wedding reception flower arrangements from a florist can be extremely expensive. They can cost hundreds of dollars a piece according to articles in different wedding magazines.

Choose silk flowers with long stems. Some will have to be shorter than others in the display. If not, you will need to trim them so you will need strong scissors or small floral wire cutters as well.
Get creative. Don’t be afraid to experiment with silk flowers. Try to create arrangements that you see in wedding magazines. It takes practice but if you start out months ahead of time, you can put an arrangement together that will be perfect for your wedding day!

Wedding Reception Floral Arrangements
Wedding reception floral arrangements can be easily and inexpensively made by you. A good idea is to purchase some large clear thin bowls used for floating candle displays.

Line the bowls with silk rose petals. Put a block of floral foam in the bowl on top of the rose petals and stick silk rose stems into it. Make sure the floral foam does not show. The heads of the roses should rest just above the glass bowl without the stems showing so the stems will need to be trimmed. The roses should be right next to each other.
Experiment with this until you are happy with the way it looks. Start making your wedding reception floral arrangements months before your wedding so you have plenty of time.

You need to be particular about the type of wedding reception flower arrangements if you aim to make the occasion really special. Remember, your wedding would be a special event in your life so you and your guests must make a good impression of the happening.

Reliability of the wedding preparation firm should also be a significant consideration when you are aiming to find the wedding reception flower arrangements of your choice. Of course, you must know if the flower shop where you ordered the wedding reception flower arrangement would be able to deliver the orders on time. To do this, solicit advice and recommendations from friends and colleagues.
