One of the hardest things to do when it comes to Christmas is as the years go buy it’s so hard to find something that someone would want that they haven’t already bought for themselves or gotten. You want things to be something they will not just remember but something that they will appreciate the time and the thought that you put into it.

Sometimes it’s really fun just to find something that is funky and unusual that will be one of those one of a kind gifts that they will remember and appreciate not just for Christmas but beyond. Here are some fun ideas for you to think of when considering Christmas gifts this year.

Buy a Star

You could buy a star for someone. They let you name it after the person you’re giving it too and you’ll get a certificate and a map showing where your star is. There are several places on the internet where you can do this.

Charitable Gift

What are their passions? Do they have a passion for a certain cause or a charity? If this is the case then you can consider a gift in their name to the charity of their choice or something that you know they would or do support.

You’ll find that with these gifts they will personalize the gift and give a card along with a thank you gift to those who donated or in this case the person you donated in the name of. If it is something that helps people or a child they will include a picture and describe how the gift has helped that child/child’s family.

Buy Ireland

A really cool and funky gift for your Irish friend or anyone you might think would find it really cool is to buy them some land. You can actually buy a 1sq ft of rural Ireland. They will give the plot of land, legal documentation as well as a certificate of ownership. Additionally there will be a map with an address as well as two photographs of the area surrounding it. This is an awesome gift for one of your Irish friends or anyone that may want the “luck of the Irish.”

Sun Jar

One really fun thing is a sun jar. The sun jar is one that is made of a frosted glass and it comes in the shape of a mason jar. What happens is it will store up sun throughout the entire day and it will then come on at nighttime.

Funny T-shirt

Another fun idea is to come up with a custom saying and a funny company name for your friend. You can then get a t-shirt company to put a print on a t-shirt or more than one. There is usually no minimum order so you can either do that one personal one or a different one if you want to do something for your entire family. If you’re doing like a family team shirt come up with a cool name and then give everyone a funny nickname for their shirt to personalize it.
