On Friday we hit a beautiful benchmark: our Daily Q&A received its 2000th reply! There were no sirens or confetti, but we all did a whoop whoop in the studio and gave three cheers for Lucia – our divine 2k commentator. We’ve got a Style Statement book on the way to her. (Is that good karma, or what?! Lucia wrote a gorgeous letter to Oprah about rocking her Style Statement, which she had done with us many moons ago.)

We launched the Daily and our new site in April. We thought, “Hey, we’re on a five city major book tour, we’re in the middle of raising serious venture capital coin, we just changed our systems from PC’s to MACs, we’ve done team change ups…why not launch a revolutionary newsletter and site while we’re at it?” Pressure creates diamonds.

EVERYDAY we are inspired by you. Everyday we learn. Everyday we laugh. To those of you who join the conversation, we thank you with all our hearts. To those of you who tune in and let us know that you carry the questions throughout your day, to work and around the dinner table…thank you.

Visits to our site have increased by 161% since we kicked off. We pay attention to everything you say, in the Daily, our in-boxes, and on your own blogs and websites.
