Dear friend,

Om shanti. I am thinking this morning about how important it is for us to place a high value on everything we have and everything we do, such that we do not waste anything. This is a kind of spiritual economy and it is tied to the principle of karma. We are creating the future with every thought, word, and action.

We live with spiritual economy, when we surrender everything to God. Everyone should understand clearly now what it means to surrender, to use everything in a worthwhile way and to make a sacrifice. When we surrender ourselves to God, we have the deep understanding that everything belongs to Him. The proper meaning of ‘using in a worthwhile way’ is that you just throw a few seeds and you receive lots of fruit in return. I should surrender to such an extent that nothing is mine – body, mind, or wealth. Use everything in a worthwhile and successful way such that the time is not ‘mine’, the breath is not ‘mine’ but everything is being used for serving. Make this your special offering. Let it be that not even a sesame seed remains; everything is offered.
