No, I am not wealthy - I was patient and looked hard on eBay until I found a pair I could afford. And one thing can say for those really good shoes is that they are so well designed that the heels actually are comfortable - perfectly balanced. I've also found bargains in Manolo Blahnik - the best! and Charles Jourdain and can vouch that you can stand and walk for a lot longer than usual in these. It took me months to come up with the Louboutins and I paid about $65 - well worth the hunting and patience. But I have to say I have yet to find a more comfortable shoe than the Blahnik.
