Bad hair is a cultural phenomenon that’s been going on for centuries, and good ‘n truly proves that humans have a long way to evolve. Something goes awry between our better judgment and the mirror. And it’s this: so many of us fail to see the SHAPE and the COLOR of our hair, as it relates to that all important vehicle: OUR FACE.
There’s The Bell (flat on the top, winged at the bottom,) and The Mushroom (the domed puff that mysteriously ends at the chin,) and my personal favourite in terms of bad colour jobs: thick stripes of blonde uh, highlights, that end up looking like bad upholstery.
Oprah’s Haircut Makeovers slide show is a Tour de Shag that you’ve got to see. A caramel shade instead of red. Some soft bangs instead of a tie-back. Small changes that could revolutionize your look.
