Your skin needs a lot of care from cleansing to protecting and moisturizing. Cleansing the face starts by washing the face two to five times a day depending on your skin type. Frequent cleansing does not, however, suit people with dry skin. Proper cosmetic products are needed for such skin types. But, bottom line is whatever skin type you have, it needs careful care.

There are many products available top choose from; soaps, liquids, or even special cleansers. Before attempting to do anything for your skin, do consult your dermatologist to know what suits your skin and what does not, and also to help you figure out exactly what skin type you have. Masksare mixtures that contain ingredients for face cleansing as well. Masks help remove dead skin and bring out the clean soft skin. Masks can also assist with toxin removing from your face because you get exposedto a lot of environmental pollution around you and the residues probably keep clinging onto yourskin. Masks can be made up of cucumbers, brewer’s yeast, or even lemon juice. All thoseingredients help in restoring balance to your skin.

Additionally, many skin care products are available; fresheners and toners which are water based and include cleansing ingredients. The skin care products are usually applied after washing the skin and rinsing it with water. Use non alcoholicfresheners since they suit both dry and sensitive skin.

Moisturizing: Regular use of a suitable moisturiser benefits your skin. The moisturiser not only replaces the water lost from the skin but also prevents its loss to the surroundings. It protects the skin against the drying influences of the environment such as the effects of the sun, cold and heat. Tinted moisturiser isvery helpful under foundation. It always keep the make up moist.

Although the sun can be helpful for the skin, too much exposure is not healthy for skin appearance. The ultraviolet radiation from the sun rays can ause damage to skin and have it lose its elasticity, thus causing more wrinkles. At times, sun burn can even cause skin cancer. So, to have a radiant looking skin, avoid long time lapses of skin contact. Further going, sun screens and protections are available. In fact, those products can actually act as barriers against pollutants and toxic fumes and resiudes.
