Okay, so everything is going wrong. Your car busts, you’re arguing a lot, it just seems like bad luck is following you everywhere. Well, this may not be all your fault. Mercury in Retrograde in Aquarius

Okay, so I know that was a mouthful but I promise it’s important. You see, much like every other planet in astrology, Mercury goes through a sign. This time it’s Aquarius The Water Bearer. Aquarians are all about being unorthodox, creative thinkers, and introversion. So this time around, Mercury’s retrograde will be about seeking answers in yourself.

People will be more stubborn during this period, and they will also try to conform the people around them to their way of thinking. Opinions will come out (for good or bad), but right now is not the time to bring new ideas to old concepts.

Mercury in Retrograde Will Pass

Luckily, Mercury is not in retrograde forever. Much like every other planet, it’s effect is a cycle. It’s best not to make plans during this time. The usual period for a planet to be in retrograde is around a month to thirty nine days. Now, during this time you have the period when mercury stops it’s orbit (station), then goes backward (retrograde), then it seems to stop again (direct station) then it goes and reverses (return) again going back on course (this is the day that everything seem to be going okay and your world is back to the way it used to be). It may feel like during this time you have no control over the events around you. You’re right, you don’t. Enjoy it.

Mercury in retrograde actually forces us to stop for a little while. Something we should do much more of. Take advantage and closet yourself away from the world for a little while. Since mercury is in Aquarius, now is the perfect time for soul searching and figuring out what you really want in life. Don’t fret about all the things going wrong, the situations will right themselves after the retrograde is over.
