Spirit: Creative is a life-affirming explorer. Gifted with fantastic imaginations, Creative will seek out originality-unique people and experiences, abstract thinking, and fantastical, whimsical notions. Small-mindedness and regulation deeply pains Creative. Resourceful, determined, and passionate, they can find a way through any circumstance. Naturally flexible and positively capable of reinventing themselves and turning situations around, they tend to be comfortable with change. Fully expressed, Creative is a powerful force that can inspire people to change for the better or to shift directions. While not all of us are overwhelmingly, in-your-face “creative,” creativity is expressed in a huge variety of ways. I believe 100% that God (a creative creator!) created us to be creative. We each need (and crave) our own source of creative outlet — whether it’s designing clothes or letterhead, fashioning a biz deal or baking a cake (after having tweaked the recipe especially to your likes), making a special card for a loved one or researching a book, putting together a fabulous outfit from your closet or arranging pictures “just so” on a wall … and the list goes on endlessly. I think that when we aren’t able to use our piece of creativity that’s when we feel stiffled or as though something is missing in life. I believe our ability to be creative is a great gift. For me, being creative is almost as essential as breathing.
