How To Use Massage Balls

If you are someone that tends to work out on a regular basis then you may often feel tight. If this is the case then you should really think about getting a massage ball in order to help you. If you’re feeling loose when you’re working out then you’ll be able to increase the output of your training and will exponentially get much more out of your training regimen. When your muscles are working properly then you’ll be able to have a lot more output. If you lie on the massage ball you’ll be able to manipulate yourself and find your trigger point that is somewhere in your body and then use the massage ball to get it out. Some people don’t even know they are there because they are lying dormant. There could also be a lot of pain in the area they are in as well.

You can use a massage ball for muscle reflex stimulation or as a way to alleviate or at least relieve tension buildup and release muscles through the entire body.

Types of Massage Balls

Porcupine Ball
These balls are pretty much just like they sound, they have little spikes on them. They are able to be used like a normal massage ball by just sitting or laying on it in the area that you want and then you’ll experience the pain relief through the loosening of your muscles as a result of loosening your trigger points. It’s a great solution if you should be feeling a lot of pain and tightness. They are available in many sizes and colors and there is also a very cheap price range so they should fit any budget. They’d be an excellent addition to any training regimen and you’ll likely be very surprised at how much they actually do help.

Foot Ball
There isn’t one person that doesn’t likely get sore feet. Basically you just simply put this ball underneath your foot and then you roll. Under the feet you have what’s called a fascia, which is a large 3D like sheath of connective tissues. All of this tissue runs like a web throughout our entire body so if it gets tight it can not only affect that area but your body as a whole. There are a variety of strengths to suit whatever you find yourself able to handle.

Body Massage Ball
The body massage ball is pretty much like an exercise ball since it is larger and you’re able to get your entire body with it. There are a lot of people that tend to prefer these; however, they don’t target the specific point like a more normal massage ball would, though if you’re looking for something that’s going to work and relax your entire body then this is probably the one for you.
