Male Stamina and Impotence

Sexuality | November 27th, 2009

There is a simple equation of cause and effect with male stamina and impotence. Low stamina in the male is a clear indication of the onset of impotence. A low stamina in a man could mean a low libido. A low libido could lead to impotence.

There are many causes of a low stamina in a man. Unless it is a physical condition where the man has some kind of physical problem which saps him of his strength which having sex, a low stamina is the direct result of a low libido. When a man loses his sex drive he gets listless and is usually devoid of all energy. There can be many reasons for a loss of libido in a man. These factors can affect even men who are very healthy and have strong bodies.

Psychological reasons affect men’s libidos even more than physical reasons. Stress is the biggest killer of libidos the world over. Stress at home could be a problem in a relationship or the health of a close and cherished loved one. Stress at work could be professional life not going according to plan, or extended deadlines and pressure at work from the boss. Worrying about one’s future or one’s family also hits the libido. Problems at home with family members like parents or children, can rob a man of his desire to have sex. The propensity of a man to have sex is directly proportional to his state of mind. If he is happy and satisfied with his life, he will be happy and satisfied in his sex life. If a man is depressed or is feeling guilty about something then he cannot be sexually active and healthy. Every day tension can slow eat away at a man’s libido until he has lost it completely and is clinically impotent.

Not all problems are psychological and emotional. Some problems are physical which prevent a man from enjoying a healthy sex drive. Injuries and wounds from sports or accidents can prevent a man from enjoying a healthy libido. Medical conditions like cancer and diabetes can result in a low libido. Conditions like hypertension are not at all conducive to an active sex life. Medicines taken to treat these diseases can also lead to impotence in a man.

A man is considered impotent when he;

  • Cannot have an erection
  • Cannot have an erection for more than a few seconds
  • Cannot have a full erection and remains semi-flaccid

Curing a low libido and improves a man’s stamina is easier than curing impotence. These symptoms should be indentified early and addressed quickly. It should be understood that a low libido results in a loss of stamina in a man and slowly leads to impotence. Cutting down cigarettes and alcohol can help reverse the condition. Frequent and quality exercise should be started and the most important part, stress should be eliminated from every day life.

If nothing else works, and a man thinks that he has become impotent, proper professional help should be taken at the earliest to be able to cure this condition.
