Tips To Lose Weight Consistently
Losing weight is a very complicated process and staying on a strict regimen is one of the most important factors that will help you successfully lose weight. Some think if you go on a crash diet starving yourself for days it is going to help you drop the pounds fast, but the real truth is that, not to mention the depraving effects of overeating, under-eating only makes you weak and vulnerable to the common illnesses. So what do you fall back on then?
You know very well, there are not many worthwhile health related sites on the internet and most of whoever renders you with advice is only unknowledgeable moneymaking scams. You face a dilemma and don’t know where to go and which one to consider as the truism. For this very reason, here I’m going to share with you some weight loss tips that will provide with results on a consistent basis:
- Do not go for heavy meals. It is best is to go for several small meals interspaced with regular time intervals
- Chew your weight loss foods slowly and thoroughly for easy digestion
- Using a smaller plate during meal times will help you overcome your psychological perception that you have eaten less and you are still hungry
- Never eat while you’re preparing meals (if you can resist it)
- Go for low-calorie food items. Read the instructions labeled on them to ascertain this. (Check out our post on Healthy Weight Loss Foods)
- It is best that you restrain your calorie intake from fatty items to only one-fourth percentages
- Are you missing the ginger, onion, garlic, etc, in your food? Don’t refrain from them. Grafting off the flavor doesn’t make it a healthy diet
- Eat plenty of fiber since they not only help in blocking the calorie consumption but also make you immune to sicknesses
- High amounts of salt in your food are extremely bad for you, you can substitute freshly ground nutmeg or other seasoned flavoring in lieu of salt
- Don’t be a critic of yourself. Look for opportunities to reward yourself for encouragement
- When going for seafood or meat, always go for the leaner lower calorie weight loss foods.
- Don’t overeat and furthermore, don’t skip meals
- Exercise rigorously for at least half an hour for 5 days a week
- Don’t sit for long stretches of time. If you have a job that requires you to be at a desk all day try to get up and walk around as much as you can, take the stairs instead of the elevator, etc
- Categorize the weight loss foods intake into several groups: Grains and Bread, Milk and Dairy, Vegetables, Fruits, Protein (Poultry, Fish and Meat), Fat
- Set short-term goals rather than going for long-term ones; short ones are flexible and easily manageable
- Keep a regular record of your progress. Unless you journal your improvement, you won’t be motivated to move on further
- Get yourself a buddy to observe the strict health routine. A horse always runs fastest when it sees other horses running
- Slow and steady is the name of the game. Don’t go for the Crash Diet programs instead of weight loss foods
- Last but not least is to keep motivating yourself and pushing forward with a positive outlook
