Lasek surgery is a new breakthrough in surgical procedures where a combination of many advantages from other kinds of laser eye surgeries is used. Lasek surgery combines two popular procedures of laser vision correction surgery, Lasik and PRK. Lasek is used in effective treatment of problems with the eyes like as astigmatism and near sight or far sight. The number one way it differs is in the manner the cornea’s outer layer gets cut. Traditional laser eye surgery uses a cutting tool called a microkeratome, but Lasik uses a fine blade called trephine, which is utilized alongside a solution of alcohol.
