It’s the Thought that Counts!
I received this message from a dear sweet friend:

Hi Carrie!
Today I went into Hermes and I thought of you! It was such a nice feeling, thinking of Vancouver and our shopping days. After I picked myself out some cuff links, a few dozen silk scarves and a beach towel, I thought, “wouldn’t it be nice if…?” So I did! I bought you an Indian motif bracelet in my mind. It’s fine-medium width and gold plated, in printed enamel, vibrant orange reds, beautiful grays and sky blues. I hope you like it.
Love,
Joshua~
Dearest Josh,
I love my new bracelet, it’s so me, Refined Treasure. What a wonderful gift that you know me so well. In my mind I am wearing it everyday!
. . . . . . .
Isn’t this so lovely, so thoughtful? If you had slues of money what would you buy for a cherished friend? Let them know!!

If it were me, I’d buy one of my closest friends a gorgeous, romantic red formal dress: Its got a full skirt, like a ballgown, and a corset top, and its all in red satin. My friend gasped aloud when she saw it. Her favourite flowers are roses, and this dress practically embodies a red rose. I’d love for her to be able to wear it, and I know she would too! (She’s a Nostalgic, for sure.)
