As a recently discovered Composed Fresh, I’m curious to get your take on what female celebrity you would classify as a fellow Composed Fresh? Thought it may be fun to know! Thanks!

Dearest Composed Fresh in Michigan:

A few weeks ago we were on Entertainment Tonight Canada. They had all sorts of style questions for us about Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Tom & Katie Cruise. They were plying us with  close ups to have us guess at celebrity Style Statements. “Come on…just a guess?” And even on national television, we just wouldn’t do it. “Nope, sorry, we never, ever guess.” Thankfully they still aired the interview (we’re stubborn, but fabulous on camera!)

Similarly, some of the people closest to us have said, “Oh come on, you MUST know what my Style Statement is, you’ve known me for years.” Nope. Don’t know. Gotta ask the questions. “If you want to find out…you’ve got to go in.”

One of the questions we ask in the Style Statement book is, “In terms of celebrities, whose look do you identify with?” Who on the red carpet do you dig? Something tells me you like Reese Witherspoon. Or maybe Kate Winslet? Or perhaps 80% Renee Zellweger with 20% of Cameron Diaz?

I highly recommend creating a style file. Whether its an on-line folder, or a shoe box full of magazine pages, it’s incredibly useful to capture what you like and keep referring to it. What makes your heart sing? What would you feel fabulous in? What makes up your Composed foundation — your basics? And what can you wear, bring into your home, and how can you BE, that let’s your Freshness shine through?

Celebs, designers — they’re fashion inspiration, for sure. But you…you’re Composed Fresh, the real thing. And Composed Fresh is what you say it is.
