How To Pick A Self-Tanning Lotion

Beauty, Style, Sunless tanning | August 17th, 2009 No comments

The common ingredient between all tanning products is the DHA, a colorless sugar substance which chemically reacts with dead skin cells transforming during the process the skin to orange-brown color. Unfortunately this tan doesn’t last for more than 5 days just until your body generates new skin cells and getting rid of the dead skin cells with the DHA in them.

The good use of self tanning lotions prevents you from side effects like streaking and your skin turning orange. Always remember to exfoliate before applying lotion to avoid stains because simply the DHA on your skin is just an oil stain so you need to wash it out completely before applying a new one. Shave the day before you get the tan just to completely remove the DHA from the skin. Try to get the most suitable lotion for your skin for better results, search more and know your body before choosing the right lotion for your body.
