Hip Grandmama: Carrie’s “You Look Great!” Fashion Tips
One of Danielle and my favorite people is our dear friend, Patsy. Her Style Statement is Cherished Playful. She radiates joy, and always, always “Looks Great!”
Why she looks great:
1. Black works. Why?Contrast; white shirt, red lipstick, red pedicure and white hair. Without these elements she would look washed out.
2. Signature piece. Her always present playful accessory, her “20%,” is her funky tweed cap from Britain. It’s an easy touch that pulls it all together – that’s consistency.
3. One thing only: This silver cuff is strong and striking. (Notice how she has it over her sweater) More jewelry would be distracting.
4. Layering: pinstripe trouser with sheer linen tunic and striped cardigan are quirky but work because it is the same color palette.
5. Comfort. Black flip flops & bag creates a clean line and she exudes ease.
