What is low calorie dieting? Mainly it’s feeding your body with low calorie food so it can then burn stored fat. Calories fuel our body so it can undertake daily activities. When we give it less calories it can then turn to the stored fat to get more fuel, and as a result we lose weight. Truth is that it’s not that easy to achieve. If you don’t know how to feed your body with the right food at the right intervals, at the end you will regain all the weight, damage your metabolism and cause unhealthy weight loss of water and muscle.

A healthy diet will keep your metabolism in its peak with around 4 to 5 meals a day. Base your diet around fresh fruits and vegetables plus lean protein and whole grains. No off-limit foods but avoid sweets and junk food or just take them in small quantities. A healthy diet is permanent and much more realistic. It is not something that you engage with in a week or two and quit while you are at it.
