Gal to Gal Virtual Walk for Breast Cancer: We’re walking, are you?
We are excited to announce our participation in the Gal to Gal Virtual Walk, run by the fantastic women at DesignHerGals.com.
This Virtual Walk – which raises funds and awareness for Stage IV breast cancer through the Gal to Gal Foundation – lets walkers create their own animated cartoon Walking Gal or Guy (Danielle’s is donning a retro track suit, and Carrie’s is sporting a bright purple jumper) and add them to a cityscape that changes every day during the month of October.
We’re thrilled to be participate as sponsors and walkers, alongside great companies like Epson, Glory for Girls Skincare, Franklin Covey, Build-a-Bear, Momlogic.com, Curves, and Zachy’s.
For a minimum $5 donation, you can walk in “teams” with you friends and associates. Don’t have a team? Join our CarrieandDanielle.com team – we’ll welcome walkers, joggers, and everyone in between!
Last year, the walk raised more than $200,000 and had more than 10,000 walkers participate. Martha Stewart has even recorded a segment on her TV show about this initiative, which aired last week. This year, with a lineup of walkers such as Molly Sims, Lee Woodruff, Becky Hammond, Maxine Clark, Kristin Chenoweth, and Betsy Morgan, we expect even bigger and better things!
