Dedication, noun: complete and wholehearted fidelity.
Freedom, family, animal rights, creating beauty, power, cold hard cash, consciousness, caring for the land you live on…
Dedication is a compass that guides you through tough times. Seth Godin refers to it as The Dip — slumps when you’re tempted to sell out, give in, or give up. (And sometimes, quitting is the best course of action so that you can find another form to express your dedication.) Dedication helps you know when to say yes or no, I quit, or Come hell or high water I will weather this storm.
