When you do some shopping for your furry four-legged family member you should avoid the temptation for a lot of treats and chew toys that could either trigger some allergies or add too many pounds on. That’s a real worry with pets just like it is for us two-legged people during the holiday season.

There are a lot of other options that you can do to make it a happy Christmas for your animal without going overboard with the things discussed above.

For your kitten you can get a new scratching post that has the kitten condo at the top or tree that will give your cat a lot of options for play, rest and exercise. It will be great for them and make them a healthier and happier pet for you.

When searching out this type of gift for your kitten you should get one that has different heights to it that will give them the ability to climb and have an enclosed area at the top for them to take some naps too.

You can also pamper your pet by getting them a luxury bed so they can indulged themselves with the many naps that they take in some style both on Christmas day and throughout the entire year. They have just about everything from a tent to a chaise lounge; it comes in a variety of colors and covers too.

If you dress your dog you can make sure to dress him extra warm by getting them a jacket, sweaters and a coat. The clothing is comfy and can also give your dog a fashion statement for rhinestones from your girl or confused dog to fun fabrics or dress them in the logo of your favorite sports team.

There are a lot of other fun things out there. Take a trip to your local pet store and/or look online and you’ll find all that is out there to fit your budge and be an awesome gift for your pet.
