While Adam and Eve still lived in Eden there was no time, no such thing as being late or meeting deadlines - best of all, no getting old and crotchety.

So time began after and out of the garden - not in it at all.I can easily believe this, because time doesn't seem to exist even in an earthbound garden like my own.

It’s a good thing that I am used to stopping to see what’s new – or my husband, even though he had his chest cut wide open only a week ago, would probably drag me through the yard at a fast clip. He seems to think that going fast will speed his recovery. But I slow him down by forcing him to admire each and every new sprout, shoot and bloom I find – and we have enough garden to find lots of those. Taken advantage of properly, the gardens will promote healing.

Some people call it “LASIX,” but the name is short for “laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis.” Lasik laser eye treatment has a number of advantages over many other procedures, which includes lack of pain after the surgery and that good vision gets restored by the next day.
