Budget Planner, Making a Simple Budget Plan

A budget planner is something that is really needed as these days it’s really hard not to feel the pinch. When you can make a budget plan you’ll be able to get an idea on where your money is going and be able to get your finances on track.

The following will give you some help on making that happen.

The simplest plan is to track everything and especially those small daily expenditures. How often people have gone to open their wallet and say I could have swore I had more money than that. Where did the money all go? There is nothing to show for it and you can’t remember spending until you take the time to backtrack and realize you spent $30 that week in the vending machine alone and almost $80 on fast food. You’re amazed at the amount of money that you’re spending on things that you have no idea about until you actually start tracking them.

All you need for this is a small notebook that you’ll carry with you. You’ll separate into three columns and you’ll have the following:

  1. The date
  2. What was bought
  3. How much it cost

Carry it with you at all times and write what you purchased in it whenever you buy something. Do this for at least a month so you can get a really solid idea where you’re making the most mistakes and losing track of your spending.

Once you’re getting the hang of it you’re going to be able to assess where you’re going to need to make all of your changes and you’ll be able to make them easier now that you know what’s really happening with your money. After you’re at this for awhile you’ll be able to take it a step further and make a more comprehensive budget plan and be able to pay off all your debt and get some money away into your savings account.
